Photo Album: Roof Decking Rot & Mildew Damage in Barrington, NJ

Grand View Roofing went out to this property in the Barrington, NJ area to perform a roof inspection. When we entered the attic, we could see most of the decking was covered with mildew and heavy mold. This is a major health issue for the homeowner and needs to be addressed now.    We are going to make our way to the outside and see where the exterior shingles are allowing the moisture to enter the attic area. Most likely, there wasn't a layer of underlayment added went the last contractor put the roof shingles on or it could be because when the last asphalt shingles were installed, they never removed the the original shingles.    We are providing a quote for Tania & Dan so they can decide on how to approach repairing or replacing their current roof.
