This customer had experienced several leaks and a deteriorated, worn-out roof which he had chased for several years. We replaced his roof using IKO Dynasty shingles in Granite Black and a stress-free warranty for years to come! We met with Jack, a homeowner in Sewell, NJ, in regards to his home's back deck. He was looking to have his deck replaced to freshen up the aesthetic of his home and somewhere to enjoy the summer months with his family. Our crew took a look at the current deck and felt that it would be best to keep the current roof structure but replace the deck and framing, as well as the lattice to allow for access under the deck. Jack was thrilled to get started on this project and chose Grand View to proceed with the deck and siding replacement. Our crew began removing the current deck, laid a concrete pad to install necessary footings for the new deck, and installed the framing and lattice. Jack also opted to install new white vinyl railings. We agree that the black and white railings really pop against the home. Jack is thrilled with his home's transformation and we could not be happier with the results!

The right front area of the house's roof was damaged by falling branches that tore up the shingles and penetrated the roof's decking. Our representative Bart, explained to the homeowner Sherri that we could repair the damaged section of the roof but he couldn't guarantee that repair would hold up due to the other asphalt shingles that were affected. 

Repairing an affected area allows for future water penetration. Roofing shingles are better installed when they are nailed evenly and have a consistent pattern. This also allows for proper sealing of the shingles. 

After explaining and presenting recommendations, Sherri thought it would be best to replace the full roof so she wouldn't have to worry about future repairs. Another consideration for this is it isn't always easy to find matching colors due to weathering and sun fading.

Grand View Roofing and Exteriors received a call from Angel in Blackwood, NJ after she drove by our office. Angel was looking for an estimate for a roof replacement and siding installation. She had reached out to her insurance regarding a leak in her roof and she had concerns about her siding and trim. She stated her siding is white and her trim was wrapped in blue over ten years ago, but it has faded into a gray/purple color. At first, Angel had thought that going with stone on the bottom section of her exterior would be the best decision from an aesthetic standpoint. However, after meeting with our siding experts and going over all of her options, she decided on a gorgeous blue board and batten siding (which we totally agree was a great choice!)

Our team got started on her removing her old roofing and siding and proceeding with the roof replacement and siding installation. Our crew replaced her old gutters with new white gutters to match. Additionally, with our crew's recommendations, Angel tied together her new home's color palette with stunning black shutters and trim. Angel also opted to replace the octagonal window by the front porch, and our team installed a new, modern window. Details are always of the essence with Grand View and we think the window replacement was the final touch to her home's transformation.
