Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

The right front area of the house's roof was damaged by falling branches that tore up the shingles and penetrated the roof's decking. Our representative Bart, explained to the homeowner Sherri that we could repair the damaged section of the roof but he couldn't guarantee that repair would hold up due to the other asphalt shingles that were affected. 

Repairing an affected area allows for future water penetration. Roofing shingles are better installed when they are nailed evenly and have a consistent pattern. This also allows for proper sealing of the shingles. 

After explaining and presenting recommendations, Sherri thought it would be best to replace the full roof so she wouldn't have to worry about future repairs. Another consideration for this is it isn't always easy to find matching colors due to weathering and sun fading.

Grand View Roofing and Exteriors received a call from Angel in Blackwood, NJ after she drove by our office. Angel was looking for an estimate for a roof replacement and siding installation. She had reached out to her insurance regarding a leak in her roof and she had concerns about her siding and trim. She stated her siding is white and her trim was wrapped in blue over ten years ago, but it has faded into a gray/purple color. At first, Angel had thought that going with stone on the bottom section of her exterior would be the best decision from an aesthetic standpoint. Angel also opted to replace the octagonal window by the front porch, and our team installed a new, modern window.
